Basset is a decorative font family. It was originally designed by Pat Hickson for QBF in Manchester, England, and was digitally engineered by Steve Jackaman. Jackaman produced three additional weights to complement the original five.
Basset is commonly used at display sizes, and possesses a geometric, futuristic feel. The family would be right at home emblazoned on the side of a spaceship, or for any project that might benefit from loud and proud fonts.
