Portobello is a distinct, glyphic font family that could also be classified as a sans or sans serif family.  Steve Jackaman (ITF) created and produced Portobello in 1993, which was inspired by Aldo Novarese’s ‘Pontecorvo’ designs from the mid 1980s.

Portobello’s hooks and pointed bottoms give the family a masculine, inscribed look.  No matter the size that Portobello is used at, it always has unmatched cleanliness and legibility.
